Triathlon
Triathlon is an optional sport on the Commonwealth Games programme and made its debut in 2002 at the Manchester Games.
The men’s and women’s races will be conducted over the Olympic distance of 1500m swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running, in that order.
The competition will be conducted under the rules of the International Triathlon Union (ITU) - www.triathlon.org
Triathlon will feature on the sports programme for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
