Competition Format
In Delhi 2010 both the men’s and women’s competition format consisted of two pools of five teams playing each other in a round-robin tournament.
On completion of the pool fixtures, the top two in each pool play semi final cross over matches with the winners contesting the final and the losers contesting the bronze medal.
