The Scottish Commonwealth Games Youth Trust was established in 1989 to help support the Council inthe context of Games preparations and Team activities. Its Trustees are the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Honorary Treasurer and Honarary Legal Adviser. A Registered Charity (number SCO 06256), the SCGYT welcomes donations towards its activities, which focus on athletes under the age of 25.
Donations are eligible for Gift Aid Support.
Under the Government’s Gift aid Scheme the Games Council, through the Scottish Commonwealth Games Youth Trust, can reclaim the tax made on donations by UK taxpayers. This means that, if you pay tax in the UK, your gifts to us can increase by nearly a third – at no extra cost to you
For example
- If you give £10
- The taxman will add £2.82
- Giving us a total of £12.82
What you need to do
Please download the Gift aid form (PDF), print it out, complete, sign and return to us, with your donation, to:

What does this mean to us?
