Scotland's Youth Games Team returned home today with their haul of of 52 medals. With 12 Gold, 17 Silver, and 23 Bronze medals, Scotland was fourth in the medal table behind hosts Australia. England and South Africa.

At the first Commonwealth Youth Games held in Edinburgh in 2000, Scotland was also fourth in the medal table but on that occasion the medal tally was a more modest 32.
